Support

We aim to treat everyone as an individual and provide tailored support to meet their needs.

Empowering women

Support Workers provide encouragement and work with women throughout their stay at Gilgal. They have a wealth of information at their fingertips and are the first port of call for all practical and emotional needs, networking with a wide range of professionals and other agencies to ensure that individual needs are met.

Building children’s confidence

Our Children’s Worker helps support women by discussing issues which might be affecting their children, as well as providing valuable support, play and activities for the children.

Women and children have Individual Support Plans, which are drawn up in partnership with their named worker. One to one time is spent with their named worker on a regular basis, to explore issues, ask for help, plan for the future, or discuss any concerns.
